No amount of money or donations will mend those who have lost a loved one but it’s better to do something than nothing at all.

There is never a time where something like this wouldn’t be horrific, but something about the fires burning just as the holidays ensue makes it that much more heartbreaking. Many local businesses have come together and are making efforts to support those in Butte County that have been affected. Here’s a few to support:

Rogue Habits

Local magazine Rogue Habits will be donating 25% of the sales in their online shop to fire relief through today Tuesday, November 20th. They have also partnered with local makers with products that will donate 100% of the sales, including mugs by Stephanie Intelisano and a skincare set by Ree Ma Rituals. // roguehabits.com

Fountainhead Brewing Company

Although not in the Bay Area, they’re making a unique effort to help the victims. The Sacramento based brewery is partnering with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company to make a special beer called Resilience IPA, available exclusively on November 27th. All proceeds from the sale of the limited edition beer will benefit the Sierra Nevada Brewery Camp Fire Relief Fund. If you can’t make it in person that day, you can donate to goldenvalley.bank / community-foundation.aspx. // fountainheadbrewingco.com, 4621 24th St. Sacramento.

Doña Tomás

Starting (today) Tuesday November 20th, the Oakland based Mexican restaurant will donate 10% of the proceeds from their lunch and dinner sales to a Camp Fire Relief GoFundMe page for the next three Tuesdays. The fund they’re supporting was started by Grant Kerber, who will be working with the North Valley Community Foundation to ensure the money raised will directly help the victims. // donathomas.com, 5004 Telegraph Ave, Oakland

Wente Vineyards

The Livermore based winery is accepting donations to benefit Operation USA, a nonprofit helping communities overcome the effects of disasters. In addition, this Black Friday, 50% of all purchases of their Charles Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon will also be donated to Operation USA.  // wentevineyards.com, 5565 Tesla Road, Livermore

Third Love

The San Francisco based intimates brand is helping its workers in their Chico office that have been affected by the Camp Fire. They have set up a GoFundMe page to help their teammates, especially in collecting essential items. // gofundme.com/thirdlove-chico-camp-fire-relief
